Returns & Refunds Policy – Two Daughters (New Zealand)

We have a 30-day return policy for full-price items, which means you have 30 days after purchase to request a return.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it
  • Unworn, unused, and unwashed
  • With tags attached
  • In its original condition

You’ll also need proof of purchase.

Items that do not meet these conditions may be declined and returned to you.

Please note:

  • Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer’s responsibility
  • Original shipping costs ($8.25 NZD) are non-refundable

Items sent back without first requesting a return may not be accepted.


Sale Items (Non-Returnable)

All sale items are final.

We do not offer:

  • Refunds
  • Exchanges
  • Store credits

on discounted products.


Afterpay Orders

Orders placed using Afterpay are eligible for:

  • Store credit only

No refunds are available for Afterpay purchases unless required under New Zealand consumer law.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if:

  • Your item is faulty
  • Your item is damaged
  • You receive the wrong item

We will assess the issue and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).

Return shipping costs for confirmed faults will be reimbursed.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

To exchange an item:

  1. Return your item
  2. Receive a store credit
  3. Place a new order

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Processing may take up to 10 business days
  • Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us.


Store Credits

Store credits:

  • Are issued via email
  • Are non-refundable
  • Remain valid while Two Daughters is operating

If a gift voucher was used, a new store credit will be issued.


Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer for change-of-mind returns
  • Original shipping fee ($8.25 NZD) is not refunded
  • Return shipping is reimbursed only for faulty items (as required under NZ law)

Your Rights Under New Zealand Law

We comply with:

  • The Consumer Guarantees Act
  • The Fair Trading Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.
